Una historia donde un conejito expresa el deseo de explorar el mundo, asegurado por la promesa de su madre de estar ahí en cualquier forma o circunstancia. Al final, el conejito decide: "Bah... mejor me quedo aquí y sigo siendo tu conejito...", y su madre lo premia con una zanahoria. Esta historia y sus arquetipos están abiertos a varias interpretaciones. Personalmente, el final no me convence. Creo que la madre coneja debería darle espacio para crecer, cultivando el desapego en ella misma y la independencia y las habilidades de vida en el conejito. Más allá de mi crítica al desenlace, el libro tiene buenas ilustraciones, escritura atractiva y una producción de calidad.
A story where a little bunny expresses a desire to explore the world, assured by his mother’s promise to be there in any form or circumstance. By the end, the little bunny decides, 'Shucks... I’d rather stay here and be your little bunny...' and is rewarded with a carrot by his mother. This story and its archetypes are open to various interpretations. Personally, I am not fond of the ending. I believe the mother bunny should allow him space to grow, nurturing both detachment in herself and independence and life skills in the little bunny. Aside from my critique of the story's conclusion, the book has good illustrations, engaging writing, and quality production.
